Item Description
2.25" tall with hinged lid. Early 1900s with name of maker W&H on a side panel. Reverse panel is designed as a card with the words above "Compliments Of" and the card itself reading "Farm Machinery/Deere & Webber Co., Minneapolis, Minn." Card portrays three match heads sticking out from the right side. Celluloid wrap has a little creamy tan color to it but no stain. Small streak of silver luster off the top surface of the upper lid and the striker on the underside shows a little normal use. Early and rare.
