Item Description
2" stickpin holds 1.25" replica of farmer's pitchfork. Shaft of fork reads "Bryan And Sewell." Each tine holds embossed diecut brass goldbug. Letters on bugs' backs left to right read "MC" for McKinley, "R" which is likely for Republican and "H" for Vice Presidential candidate Hobart. Mint as issued w/full luster on the bugs. The most imaginative campaign stickpin we know of and we've seen less than five of this pin. This pin is representative of Bryan's farmer populist support. Rare, from the Hake collection.
