Item Description
1.5" with seldom seen backpaper reading "This Button Made By Sioux Cal. & Adv. Co. Sioux City, Ia. Celluloid Novelties/Ribbon Badges/Calendars, Fans." The button is from the early 1900s with the title text on an outer tire design and with this text on the inside area reading "Supplies And Accessories For All Makes Of Automobiles Wm. Warnock Co. 318-320 Fourth St. Sioux City, Ia." Celluloid has a few faint tan dots on outer cream edge plus a small bit of cracking of the celluloid at upper left although rather minimal and really showing just a trifle in reflected light. Exceptionally early and rare. Morry Greener Collection.
