Item Description
This is a great 1.5" real photo button with early manufacturing style brass rim on the reverse with a locking horizontal pin. Paper reads "Pin-Lock Button Co." along with their Chicago address. Front of the piece is without dot pattern and shows rider coming directly at the viewer. To the side is his name "Clarence Woodward." With magnification the word on his shirt can be deciphered as "Corbin", the name of a famous bicycle brake manufacturer. Above the rider's head is a single pinpoint nick in the cello showing as a black dot but rest of the piece is Mint as made except for a little minor aging on the reverse. Only example we've seen. Morry Greener Collection. See related item #660.
