Item Description
Matching pair of solid plaster figural bookends, each 3x5x7.25" tall. Back of each has incised Disney © and marked "U.S.A." 1950s. Donald is depicted with books slung over his shoulder, grass base is in a metallic green. The head of one has been reglued w/color touchup under bill although repair line is only visible upon close inspection. This one also has a number of small surface flakes from edges of green grass, other has just a few scattered grass flakes. Both are still bright and glossy, display VF. Scarce set. This is the actual example shown in the "Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
