Item Description
7" tall made by N.N. Hill Brass Co. c. 1938. Candlestick phone is wood and metal with attached 3" tall thick die-cut cardboard figure of Donald Duck who holds an ice cream cone. Rotary dial is spun to produce a ring. Moderate scattered wear and aging. Silvered metal parts have some traces of oxidation. Donald figure has dust soiling and scattered surface paper wear along edges, few tiny crease lines. Overall still about Fine. While we have offered a few of the Mickey Mouse phones by this company (see item #2348), this is only the second Donald we've offered in our 45 years. The other we offered sold for $1,500.
