Item Description
1.25" button with W&H backpaper shows boy running and holding aloft for all to see a folded newspaper with the bold headline "The Boston Herald/New England's Greatest Newspaper." There is another version of this button, we just realized, where the headline reads "America's Greatest Newspaper." In addition the encircling rim reads "The Boston Herald/The Sunday Herald." About a half dozen near microscopic pinpoint indents in the celluloid which are exceedingly trivial. The reverse of the button does have a tiny 1/16" cello cut by the collet but this lays flat and does not show at all from the front. Still one of the most beautiful buttons ever produced.
