Auction #203 - Part II
Item numbers 1429 through 3205 in auction 203
Item Description
6x7x13.5" tall w/stuffed fabric body plus oilcloth head and legs. Head has painted eyes and doll is complete w/attached hat, separate collar piece tied around neck and four felt buttons on jacket. Unmarked but most likely by Richard G.Krueger of New York. Item was stored sealed from day one and is the brightest, freshest and cleanest condition of any 1930s Disney doll we've seen in our 45 years. Only two minor defects of note and mentioned for complete accuracy are: one of the felt buttons has a tiny .25" sliver missing from one edge and back of hat has just a hint of scattered dust soiling. NM. A truly extraordinary doll. This is the actual example shown in the "Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
