Item Description
11x16.75" unused Whitman book #935 © 1939. Cardboard cover has punch-outs of Pinocchio and Figaro on front, back has Jiminy Cricket, Figaro in bed and his feeding dish. There are six paper pages of full color outfits and accessories plus three small example illustrations of Pinocchio and Jiminy in different outfits. Pinocchio cut-outs include his face w/long nose plus outfits depicting him as donkey boy while Jiminy cut-outs include him on a seahorse and him holding "Official Conscience" medal. Pages very lightly aged and tiny trace of margin wear. Exc. Back cover has some loose perforations but all remains intact. Lt. cover wear along edges w/some very faint pinch crease along spine. Cover VF. Still a high grade example of this rare book. Our last copy in similar condition sold for $700. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
