Item Description
1.25" with beautiful color depiction of huge domed structure with entry way accented by gigantic female figure with huge flanking wings. "Creation" was one of the illusion concessions on the amusement strip of the fair known as The Pike. For 50¢ spectators stepped onto a boat and journeyed into a dark cave taking them back to the beginning of time. Along the way were illusions of floating heads, moving platforms and murals depicting well-known historical scenes and personalities. The visitor found themselves in a theater at the end of the ride and from the dark a voice boomed 'Let There Be Light' and the story of creation from Genesis began. The reverse of this piece is designed as a clicker with a piece of spring steel however the steel is a little on the short side and therefore will not click properly. To the back of this a dot of solder has joined a 1.5" vertical stickpin. The celluloid has just four virtual pinpoint indents not through the celluloid and just catching reflected light. The piece displays essentially Mint and with wonderful color. Only example we've seen from this attraction.
