Auction #203 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1428 in auction 203
Item Description
1.25" with tanned backpaper by Keystone Badge, Reading, PA. Keystone stole this design, modifying it slightly from Whitehead & Hoag who used it as a stock design with many different imprints. On this button the imprint is "Souvenir Grand Lodge Pittsburg, May 1906/Our Last Candidate-Rejected." The button has nice coloration although not quite of the W&H quality. Lower portion has a 1" hairline cello crack but showing very little and there is a little tan stain on the perimeter mostly on the right side and to a lesser degree on the upper right. Button still displays very nicely with full gloss. A rarity.
