Contains original die-cut cardboard insert with instructions. Lid has aging, one corner split and 2" split on one side panel, both with tape repairs on inside. Box Fine, insert Exc. Insert describes canteen as “Made Of Non-Breakable Polyethylene/One Pint Capacity/Genuine Sueded Leather Pouch And Adjustable Shoulder Strap.” Describes powder horn as “Molded Plastic Construction/Genuine Sueded Leather Sheath/Adjustable Shoulder Carry-Cord.” Canteen pouch has attached 1.75” tall plastic arrowhead with Daisy logo on one side and text on reverse “Davy Crockett Be Sure You Are Right Then Go Ahead.” Canteen has Daisy logo on back, front has “Davy Crockett” sticker at top. Powder horn cap marked “Walt Disney’s Frontierland.” Unused old store stock but w/two defects of note. Canteen is missing one of two top edge brackets the strap attaches to and powder horn sheath has trace of aging to metal rivets on underside. However, neither affects appearance for display as boxed and otherwise set is NM. Well made set and rare.
