This NHL team was founded in 1993 by The Walt Disney Company and this sculpture was issued to commemorate the Mighty Ducks professional hockey team's 1993 inaugural season. The sculpture is an intense pose of their mascot Wild Wing. Created by one of the preeminent sculptors of sports figures Steve Landis whose most famous bronze sculpture "Production Line" currently sits in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Ontario.
