Item Description
1.5" with covered metal back and fixed vertical bar pin but no maker name. The celluloid on this button has quite a bit of crazing but the celluloid still lays very flat and the craze lines are barely noticeable if at all to the touch and also show only the slightest bit in certain light angles. Pictured is Bostock known as the "Animal King" who appeared across the country during the early 1900s including Coney Island, New York City and world's fairs such as Buffalo. He is surrounded here with ten different animal photos including lions, tigers, leopards and at the top an elephant. We've seen only about five of these over the years. Morry Greener Collection.
