Item Description
5.75" long marked "Sterling" on the reverse handle which includes designs of cornucopias, an angel at a drawing board, an anchor and several other smaller details. The front handle of the spoon pictures "Columbus" at the top with a globe below and a banner across it bearing his name. Below is the inscription "1492-1893 World's Columbian Exposition." The main feature of the item is the scene within the bowl of the spoon. Depicted is the famous Ferris Wheel with tiny images of brownies hanging onto and falling off all around the edges of its lower half. Only example we've seen. Exc. and rare.
