Item Description
2.75" with metal back and vertical pin plus name of maker Phila. Badge. Pictured is Philadelphia area cowgirl television personality from the 1950s Sally Starr who was known as 'Our Gal Sal." Her nickname appears on the bottom edge of this button next to the date and reading "Sal/Jan '54." Button is also inscribed for "John Bartram High." Beneath the image is name of school artist "Ann Ejdaharlan." Outer perimeter has moderately dark spotting but the little bit at the center of her body blends well with the art. Still full color and high gloss. Only example we've seen. See next related item.
