Item Description
Each is 1.25" and all have their backpaper explaining to watch the newspapers for the printing of a serial number matching that on the button to receive "Valuable Prizes." Some of these are from "New York Sunday American" and others are from "New York Evening Journal." The characters are: Archie, Boob McNutt, Castor Oyl, Dora, Der Professor, Happy Hooligan, Maggie, Mush, Rod, Spark-Plug. The Happy Hooligan button has a little air under the cello so the tone of the white background varies some but there is no stain on this nor the other nine. All are from the 1930s. Exc.
