Auction #203 - Part II
Item numbers 1429 through 3205 in auction 203
Item Description
These are extremely well made buttons in beautiful rich colors produced in the 1980's in extremely limited numbers. Each button is 1.75" with a metal covered back and bar pin. There is no text or marking on the curls or reverses. They came from the collection of the late Foster Pollock of New York City. While these are unlicensed buttons, they are of top quality. We offered a few buttons from this series way back in Auction 179 but, other than those, the buttons in the Elvis lot and the following two lots are the only examples known to us. The are no others. The button showing Elvis from Jailhouse Rock is in sepia but otherwise the other nine buttons are all in full color. Mint as produced.
