1.25" with unusual reverse construction consisting of a collet with a fixed horizontal bar pin plus a second fixed bar. Slipped behind both of these is a 6" long red fabric ribbon although we aren't sure of the age of this. The button itself is c. 1901 as stamped on the reverse collet is the faint inscription "B. Harris N.Y. Pat. June" and just barely visible "8, '01." The photo is a big close-up portrait with incredible detail. Likely sold as a souvenir at his wild west show. Button is NM and displays Mint.
