This rare 6.25" razor by Vulcan is one of the few items w/jugate photos. The black celluloid front grip has slightly yellow clear panel over real photos without dot pattern. Eagle, ribbon, wreath and scroll designs accent the photos and text. Reads top to bottom "Peace With Honor Cox For President" and "Our Choice Roosevelt For Vice President." Entire image area is clean. On the reverse a real photo White House image has faded w/pale pink discoloration. The top of building shows clearly. The U.S. Capitol real photo is clear and clean w/just a corner of bkg. color off top right. Extreme edges of case has lost just a little back color on right. Left inner grip surface is missing 1/8x1.25" area of black but being the underside and also w/blade closed, this doesn't show w/normal viewing. Metal blade lost its narrowest 1/8" deep edge over a 2.25" length but, again, this doesn't show w/blade closed. Overall VG w/important jugate area clean w/just a few dot surface rubs that show very little, even in reflected light. Listed in Hake Book 2 as Cox #2002 and 2004 Revised Price value of $3550. A rare opportunity to own a Cox/Roosevelt jugate for a fraction of the cost of a pin-back button.
