Item Description
1.25x1.75x3/8" thick original cardboard box with inscription in Japanese holds a .75" long blue enamel and silver luster lapel stud which has a threaded post and screw on cap. The back of the piece again has Japanese inscription along with date of manufacture "1988." This item came from the collection of Marshall Levin who devoted his life to collecting badges world-wide. He put a small handwritten note with this item reading in full "Issued By The Sherlock Holmes Society Of Japan For 130th Birthday Of A. Conan Doyle. Jan. 1989." The lapel stud and box are Mint and the only example we know of. Comes with Hake's COA.
