Item Description
Lot of three. First is 8.25x11" club letter to "Safety Ranger" noting the enclosed charter and detailing the formation of a club chapter with list of duties, ranks, etc. Dated 1946. Images of bread loaves at bottom along w/ad for the radio program. Lt. handling wear as originally folded. Fine. Second is 7x11" charter. Includes image of Lone Ranger on Silver at center, his facsimile signature at bottom along w/"Official Seal." This was to be filled out by 10 club members, but remains unused. Dated 1939 but came w/this letter as this was used over the duration of the club. Folded as issued but VF. Final item is 13.5x14" newspaper advertisement for Merita bread and promotes the safety club. Includes image of bread loaf w/wrapper marked "Tune In Lone Ranger." There is also a portrait image of him next to a specially designed bread end label that was to be filled out and sent in to become a member of the club. Unlike the illustrated Lone Ranger labels (see item #2992) we have never seen an example of this rare mail-in label. A great item for the bread label collector. Lt. aging/margin wear. Fine.
