Item Description
12x18" cardboard sign. At top is title "All American Girls" w/image of a woman being escorted by a soldier and sailor. Below title is text "A Mutoscope Product." Includes six actual example cards applied to the sign. However, these are from two other series, not All American Girls, but sign is as issued apparently just using available cards at that time. Two are from the 1943 Hot-Cha Girls series. Both have Earl Moran art and titles are "A Miss Is As Good As Her Smile, Shape Ahoy." The other four are from the 1945 Artist Pin-Up Girls series. These are "Is My Face Red" w/art by Earl Moran and "I Must Get A Wiggle On My Number's Next, My Calves Took First Prize, I Get The Darndest Breaks" w/art by Zoe Mozert. Sign has aging, margin wear includes small missing piece at lower left corner. Lt. card wear as mounted. Fine overall w/Exc. cards. An exceptional display. See Mutoscope set item #2997.
