Item Description
7x7" cardboard gatefold cover only (records not present) originally contained 45 rpm two record set on the "RCA Victor" label. In 1956, RCA marketed two different models of an "Elvis Presley" Victrola record player. Buyers of the $32.95 model were given the double EP SPD-22 while buyers of the higher priced $47.95 model were given EP SPD-23. Both are rare. The double EP featured eight songs from the first Elvis album (LPM-1254). Cover features same Elvis image on front that appeared on other LP and EP covers of the time, back cover is text bio. Inside is blank. Slightest trace of aging, small inked price on back top right corner. Front picture remains glossy, no edge splits. An exceptional example overall of this rare cover. Exc.
