Three pieces. 1941 premium. First is the mailing envelope. 3x5.5" w/nice Shadow illustration at lower left. Return address "From: D.L.&W. Coal Co." of N.Y. Obvious wear w/creases, back flap incomplete. VG. Second is 2.75x4.25" two-sided paper. Front has detailed instructions while back is an unused order form for additional rings. These were available for 10 cents each. Both sides feature Shadow images, front text includes "You Are Now A Member Of The Shadow Stop-Crime Club." Moderate creases. Fine. Third is the glow-in-the-dark plastic ring. Has simulated dark blue coal lump on the top while the bands each depict The Shadow in costume holding a gun. Inscription is around the top rim edges. The ring glows intensely after exposure to light. Choice, NM/Mint example, as nice as these come. In our 45 years, we have only offered about six of the papers and just four of the envelopes. A very rare opportunity to obtain a complete set.
