Item Description
c.1960's.Each is silk screened synthetic fabric made by Margi-Madrid. Each has superb graphics of various Beatles but almost every image has wrong name printed below each. Largest pennant is 14.25" tall #G-30, titled "The Beatles", showing all four Beatles. On this one Ringo and Paul are correct, but John and George are switched. Remaining four titled “Beatlemania” are each 9.75" tall with individual image along with various graphics. Numbers, art images and Beatles shown include: #644 Paul with guitar titled John at bottom, #645 John with two howling cats titled Ringo at bottom, #646 Ringo titled George with Chuck Berry-style guitar player, and #647 George titled Paul with three screaming girls at bottom. All are bright and Exc. Extremely well made with wire running through open area of fabric at top along with string for hanging. Nicely detailed and great for display. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
