Item Description
Die-cut cardboard assembles to 12x16x4" deep w/easel back. For the compilation album "Hey Jude" released in Feb. of 1970, just four months after "Abbey Road." The album peaked at #2 on the Billboard charts, going on to sell an impressive 3.3 million copies by June of that year, quite an achievement for an album that contained only previously released material. Features the famous Ethan Russell photo from the last ever formal photo session at John's Tittenhurst estate taken on Aug. 22, 1969. Lt. edge wear as assembled but remains clean and glossy. VF. Nice display piece. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
