Item Description
Two items. Hard plastic toy guitar is 21" tall c.1964 made by Mastro Industries. Body of guitar features nice large portrait images of each member with facsimile signatures. Body is version with “Four Pop” appearing in lower case rather than all upper case letters. Also has smaller portrait images at top between the pegs. Text and graphics in peg area are a bit worn and guitar is missing two strings. Back of body has 5.5" hairline crack and guitar has trace of lt. scattered surface wear. Still displays VF from front. Second item is 3.25x3.25" paper sleeve holding “Hofner Beatles Guitar String Made To The Beatles Own Specifications”. c.1964 with nice photo on front of all four members. Front has additional text “Selmer London” with #5068/6 “Wire-Wound” text. Reverse side has “Selcol” text. Contains glassine sleeve holding original metal guitar string. Outer sleeve is worn around sides from guitar string inside and has a few color rubs here and there with some dust soil on blank back. Still Bright and Near Fine appearance with unused string inside.
