14.5x21.5" ad from Sunday newspaper comic strip section for Oct. 31, 1948. Ad has 13.5x19" image area with wonderful art image of Roy on back of rearing up Trigger with his lasso surrounding text "Boys! Girls! Roy Rogers King Of The Cowboys Invites You To Win 22,501 Exciting Western Prices! Worth 33,160 Dollars! And Everyone Who Enters Gets A Beautiful Color Postcard Of Roy Rogers And His Horse Trigger!" Just below to the right is text "Prizes Given Just For Naming This Beautiful Colt The Son Of Roy's Horse Trigger" with small art image of young colt. Center right side has text "Sensational 1st Prize! A Week With Roy Rogers A Trip West For You And Mom Or Dad For A Weeks Visit With Roy Rogers In Person In Hollywood! Or One Thousand Dollars In Cash" along with art image of young boy meeting Roy And Gabby Hayes. List of Roy Rogers prizes include zipper jackets, comic book subscriptions, sweatshirts, polo shirts, handkerchiefs with slides, gloves, and lassos. Lower right has coupon with expiration date of Nov. 15, 1948 and bottom of ad has image of Quick Quaker Oats & Quick Mother's Oats cereal containers. Blank margin edges are a bit worn with a few tiny pieces gone and sheet is slightly yellowed with age but will mat and frame to VF appearance. A rare and classic full page ad we've seen just a few times.
