Item Description
3.5x5.5" c. early 1900s. Likely made in England. Wonderful nighttime image of Santa on snow covered moonlit street carrying satchel with toys and holding small Christmas tree with candles while knocking on door with two children just inside. When card is held to light candles on Christmas tree appear to glow as does heart carving on door, light inside house, and moon and windows in bkg. Corner tips are slightly rounded at extreme edges and lower left corner tip has barely noticeable .25" crease. Reverse side has text poem in English with handwritten note dated December 1905. Fine overall.
