Item Description
Each is 12.5x18" hard cover published by Bradbury, Evans, and Co. London reprinting John Leech "Punch" cartoons. Front cover of each is embossed in gold with wonderful caricature of Leech looking at his original cartoons. Three volumes, each with approx. 100 pages form complete series of five groups of cartoons. Publishing dates range from 1855 to 1864. Covers have a few lt. scuffs here and there with a few color rubs around edges, a few inside pages have a tear here and there. Blank inside covers of each have ink stamp from "Village Library Farmington Connecticut" and title page of each has their embossed seal. Overall covers Fine, insides Fine/VF. Wonderful cartoons throughout by one of England's top early cartoonists.
