Original wood frame 13x17" with original back board and brass loop hanger on top edge has under original glass a 9.5x13.5" hand colored print by "Kellogg & Comstock" with Hartford address plus at right "D. Needham 12 Exchange Street Buffalo" and tiny "333" below prints' title text. Moisture mark 5.5" long and 1" or less deep runs along bottom margin. Rest is very clean with just normal tone on borders. Cass items are quite limited in availability and this is a very nice print done during the 1848 campaign. Scarce. See late arrival Scott 1852 rare ribbon #172.
