Item Description
c.1940s.Mary Marvel and Sub-Zero Man titles are each 3x4" from same series, Zatara’s title is 2.75x4 3/8" and sub-titled “The Master Magician In The Hand Is Quicker Than The Eye by Jack Hoff”. Zatara was a DC character that debuted in Action Comics #1 in 1938 and Sub-Zero Man debuted in "Blue Bolt #1" in 1940 and appeared in 14 issues. Mary Marvel title has her involved with man in park for six days letting crime run wild, Zatara title has him using magic to enlarge his male member and satisfy woman, and Sub-Zero Man title has him covered in ice and being thawed out and getting involved with woman. Sub-Zero Man title has contents pulled loose from single staple, otherwise trio has tiny bit of aging but has Fine/VF appearance. All are rare and funny.
