Item Description
20x22" paper print has trimmed left edge (plenty of margin remains) and upper and lower edges were once folded back for framing so these have heavy crease lines (but could again be folded so as to not show.) Subtitle is "Dedicated To The 153,128 St. John Voters." Each man and women in the scene is numbered. These numbers match list of "The Living" at left and list of "The Dead" at right. The most recent date is June 10, 1904. Credit line reads "Copyrighted And Published By J.A. Van Fleet, Folsom, N.J." Two tiny pieces off right margin. There are about fifteen small edge tears mostly under 1" on the margins and these have archival tape repairs on reverse. Some dust on right side and two stain marks on top margin. Among "The Living" are the 1884 nominee John P. St. John. Among "The Dead" are 1888 nominee Clinton B. Fisk and female advocate Frances E. Willard. Overall Good condition and still displays well. A frame and mat would upgrade appearance to VF. Historic and rare.
