Item Description
c. 1950s made by Amico Japan. 5-3/8x11x4.25" deep cardboard box has nice lid art of Blinky happily playing xylophone with text including "With The Light In His Eyes". Side panel have art of Blinky on circus midway. Box has trace of lt. dust soil and tiny bit of edge wear but bright and VF. 10.5" tall clown has tin litho face and feet with rubber nose and original foil covered paper hat. Blinky's waist area has attached tin litho xylophone with various animals on keys. His eyes light but toy otherwise does not work. Hat is missing a few tiny bits of surface paper, and its original elastic band, easily replaced. Fine. Xylophone has a few tiny scratches. Satin outfit has lt. aging. Fine. Tin litho area is VF. Great design. One of the nicest clown battery toys.
