Item Description
2.75x3 1/8x4.25" tall overall with text on one side “Patented Jan-May 1876". Highly detailed design has image of a man standing on steps of an ornate building holding a tray in his hands. When a coin is placed on the tray, the weight of the coin causes the figure to pivot and deposit the coin into the bank through a slot at his left. The figure then returns to its original position. Paint has darkened with age but 50% complete. Works well. No trap. VG. Wonderful concept and design.
