Item Description
c.1973-75, the seasons the Flyers won back to back Stanley Cups. 26" tall overall including double shade with 6.5x11.75" base and figures of goalie #6 Bernie Parent and left wing #8 Dave Schultz. Original shade has Flyers orange/black team color accents. Trace of lt. dust soil with a few tiny chips or flakes most noticeable on Schultz’ hockey stick and his right chest. Still bright and glossy overall. Fine. During the 1973-74 and 1974-75 seasons, in what many consider the finest consecutive seasons ever by a goaltender, Parent won the Vezina Trophy and Conn Smythe Trophy both seasons. He was a 1984 inductee into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Schultz is renowned as one of hockey’s greatest enforcers and holds the NHL record for most penalty minutes in a single season. Large and impressive and great for display. Lamp works.
