Item Description
5x9-3/8" with stiff paper covers copyright 1882 Tuttle &Co Vermont. Published by H.B. Nims & Co. Troy, N.Y. Wonderful art on front and back covers shows Santa from the front and then from the back wearing brown fur suit getting ready to climb down chimney with huge sack of toys on his back. Inside has 12 pages with no illustrations with numerous Christmas related poems edited by Julia C.R. Dorr. Spine has a few splits repaired with clear tape and cover edges have a few lt. creases here and there but still Fine appearance. Possibly used as an early premium and/or given out by department store Santas.
