Item Description
2.25" dia. 3-7/8" tall with 1-3/8" bolt on underside. Used between 1925-1928. Silver plating over bronze stamped on underside made by the Sterling Bronze Co. N.Y. Front of base has incised Latin text "Aura Vincit" which translates to "Air Conquers". Back of base has text "De-Pat.-73161". Striking image of snarling lion sitting up with paws in air. Nice patina and detail. Exc.
