Item Description
1940s set has 3" tall off-white ceramic mug w/full color portraits around perimeter of Junior, Mugg and Sparkle. Exc. Next is 5.5" dia. by 2" deep matching bowl w/full color inner bottom illustrations of Sam, Capt. Patton, Junior. Perimeter has spaced full color portraits of Dick Tracy, Tess, B.O. Plenty, Gravel Gertie. Underside of mug and bowl have mark of maker Homer Laughlin Co. Exc. Third is 9" plate with image of Dick Tracy and his dog Mugg with squad car. Image area has moderate scratches from use. Fine. Three pieces are rarely found together as a set.
