Item Description
Model No. 967 c. 1956. Box is 31.5x12x2” deep cardboard with lid graphics of smiling Annie showing Tagg how to shoot rifle. Box lid has a few scattered color rubs, one .5" slit on lid. Box has original insert w/few tears. Fine. Contents include 32” long metal/plastic rifle with image on each side of main barrel section showing Annie and Tagg riding on horseback with rifles. Barrel is also marked "No. 967". Stock has Daisy logo design on one side. The plastic forearm is a bit warped. Plastic parts have scattered trace of aging with some tiny hairline scratches. Gun is unused, fires and makes noise but no longer produces smoke. VF/Exc. Nicely designed, complete with fabric sling, 2nd issue and instruction card has order form for bullseye scope. These paper pieces are aged but Fine. Also included in box is white plastic canteen on leather belt sling. Sling is decorated with brass stars. Lt. wear. VF. Next is nicely designed in three colors, nice quality leather belt and holster, belt loop repeats Daisy logo on rifle stock. Belt buckle shows lt. oxidation. All else is Exc. Last item is Kit Carson cap gun which is 10" long w/nickel finish and white cowboy bust grips. Unfired, NM. A wonderful, elaborate set from the 1950s.
