Item Description
7x10.5x2" deep countertop display box contains 31 of 36 identical 3.5" dia. buttons. By Button World Mfg. © 1966 NPP Inc. These buttons were sold both from display boxes like this as well as packaged w/header card. Top of box has attached illustrated panel featuring image of Batman and Robin swooping down w/nighttime skyline in the bkg. (same image appears on the header card). Box has a corner split, scattered edge wear to the lid panel. Complete with divider. Fine. Buttons feature closeup image of Batman and Robin w/capes flowing behind them, text appears around this reading "Charter Member Batman & Robin Society." Most have some pinpoint scattered tan age spotting on rims, several w/small cello rim split but all remain bright and glossy. Fine to VF. Buttons are rather common but are rarely seen with a display box.
