©1956 National Comics Publications, Inc. made by Parks Plastic Company. 8.5x9" die-cut thin cardboard box has nice art image on front with Superman flying in mid-air looking at art image of Krypton rocket. Lid is designed to punch out at top and stand up and all perforations are unattached. Box has aging, 1" split in side and two taped splits on box lid but otherwise VG. Die-cut insert consists of three hard plastic pieces, each about 5" long. Includes reserve fuel tank, pump unit, rocket. Tail fins of blue rocket have relief “S” emblem and Superman logo plus name “Krypton Rocket”. Toy uses water as fuel and “Operates on a Real Jet Propulsion Principle”. Underside has illustrated instructions and offer for extra rockets. Insert and contents are unused and NM. Nice design.
