Auction #204 - Part II
Item numbers 1447 through 3204 in auction 204
Item Description
14.25" Marx 1930s tin litho over painted steel chassis. Tin litho G-man inside with gun that is supposed to spark, but although wheel is here and works fine flint holder which is easily replaced is missing. Toy has movable front wheels and comes with replaced key. Works, although in addition to rat-a-tat-tat sound a loud screeching sound is also produced. Toy has moderate overall oxidation. VG. Still a displayable example of this classic Marx toy. Siren toy is 2.25x3.5x1.5" deep tin litho "Pocket Type Signal" by Courtland, 1950s. Has text "G-Man Siren" surrounded by radio waves on front. At bottom center is metal crank. Toy works and produces an authentic siren sound. A few tiny scattered paint nicks and scratches mostly centered on back. Glossy and VF. Neat design. Nice pair.
