Copyright 1951 The Chicago Tribune made by Ideal. 7-1/8x15.5x4.25" deep thin cardboard box has lid top and sides illustrated with example comic strips of Bonny Braids' birth including Dick Tracy and Tess Trueheart. Lid top has image of doll with pigtails. Jointed doll is 13.5" tall with "Vinylite" plastic head, cotton dress w/lace trim, rayon socks and vinyl shoes. Box lid has a few lt. hairline creases with .5" seam split at upper right side. Complete with original inserts and Fine. Doll has "sleep" eyes. Doll was never played with and has string tag and original toothbrush as shown on box lid still attached to right wrist. NM. Wonderful design, complete w/colorful box..
