Auction #204 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1446 in auction 204
Item Description
First is 1.25" with W&H back paper. This has logo of union group "B L of E." Button was issued by and reads "Keystone Overalls/27 Years The Best." Button has couple of hairline scratches showing a trifle at upper right but clean with no stain and W&H back paper indicates use between 1900-1912. Second is 7/8" for the firm "Carhartt's" (see previous item). This has small spot on bottom edge where cello was not long enough to completely fold under the collet. Button still displays cleanly with just a little line along the very bottom edge. The next three are all 7/8" buttons and the first two are identical. These all advertise overalls by "H. S. Peters." First two are identical and have symbol of union "B of L F." The last has symbol for "B.R.T." and this button has tan stain. Group of five.
