Item Description
1.75" button with W&H back paper shows scene of "Burning Of Broome County Court House Dec. 29th 1896." Depicts courthouse going up in flames while in foreground is a trolley, crowds of people, tiny carriage, and apparent fire apparatus but only a stack belching black smoke is shown. Spring pin holds 5.5" ribbon reading "Official Badge/Twenty-Sixth/Annual Convention Of New York State Firemen's Assoc'n/Binghamton August 16-19, 1898." Small loss of gold lettering on the ribbon but overall still in Exc. condition with Mint button. Rare.
