Large 11.5x26x18" tall box contains nearly complete set by A. C. Gilbert Co. copyright 1965 Glidrose Productions Ltd. Front of box has full color paper label, rest of box is in rwb. Front label notes this is a "Sears Exclusive." Box shows overall moderate aging/wear. Has very slight browning on flaps with a 3" piece off at one flap. Front picture panel is still glossy with light creases on all panels. Overall box is still much nicer than usually found. Inner box seams and flaps have some reinforcement repairs done. Still nice display and VG. Box contains elaborate electrically operated slot car race course that consists of six main molded hard plastic sections to be snapped together and held by thin metal contact rails in the racing slots of the track (some ends are missing). Assembled course is 34x51" and has very colorful and scenic basic layout including lakes, rock formations, etc. which are enhanced by addition of two plastic mountains (when assembled, the highest mountain is about 10" tall). Course is a modified "Figure 8" complete w/elevated lamps, underpasses, tunnels, banks, tilted curves, oil slicks, etc. Comes w/many small accessory pieces including signs, fence sections, trees (has all 12, but 5 are missing trunks, fire extinguisher, fuel tank, etc.) Missing Road Repair and another sign, two poles w/pennants, 2 U-clips, bulb harness and short fence piece. Comes w/pair of 3.5" long slot cars which are a red Aston Martin and blue Mustang. Mustang has lt. wear. Aston Martin has the pop-up bullet shield and is complete with one of the two copper springs. Missing both of the red plastic speed control units w/"James Bond" foil stickers that were both originally wired to one of the six sections. We have not tested the set we are unsure if it works but it does come w/original power pack. Comes w/bw photocopy of the detailed instructions. All track sections show only lt. wear, dust soiling but no noteable defects and Fine. An exceptional Bond item.
