Item Description
1" dia. metal case w/original green vinyl-covered leather straps ©1948 Fawcett Publications Inc. Offered by Fawcett Club and did not come boxed like the other Marvel Family watches. Great dial illustration of flying Marvel Jr. w/luminous hands and numerals that still glow in the dark. Attached to band is foil tag reading "Captain Marvel 6.95". Leather back shows lt. aging but vinyl front remains clean and glossy. Band displays Exc. Crystal yellowed slightest bit but dial remains totally clean and case has full luster. Watch can be wound but not running, would benefit from a simple cleaning. Exc. The rarest of the Marvel Family watches and one of the few examples we have offered in our 45 years.
