Item Description
Beautiful 1-7/16" tall brass shield in two shades of brass luster with red and black enamel paint depicting Mickey in helmet and goggles holding a wrench with airplane hanger and bi-wing plane in the bkg. Tiny brass mark on his chest is not missing paint but rather tiny depiction as if he is wearing a wings-style badge. There are eight scratches in his head. From many angles these do not show but in very reflected light they are obvious. Rest of the luster and paint is Exc. Only three small luster dots off the background. A fourth mark at far right is a tiny flying bi-plane. Our one Mint carded example exceeded $2,200.00. Exc. Rare. See next two items. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
